Communication issues

I'm currently dealing with a Speech Delay with Jayden. I've had him evaluated for hearing , autism, everything. Everyone keeps telling me '' He will talk when he is ready '' or '' one day he'll wake up and chat your head off'' its frustrating for me! He expects me to understand things he says and when I don't it leads to me having to play FBI.. I literaly have to have him repeat things and point to things. It's almost a game of charades that I don't always want to play BUT I'm a mom = therefore I have no choice! haha

He keeps saying WUHWUH .. I'm confused so I say WHAT??? a few times and he repeats the same thing

What the FREAK is wuh wuh ?

This process continues for a few more minutes until I become a little irritated...

Next , I try to reason with him and play some taboo to guess what WUH is ..

Finally I give up

This pic says it all....

Finally he points to his cup and shows me Mcdonalds didn't give us a straw for the happy meal so he needs a STRAW (-_-)

Nite Nite time with Jayden is ROUGH!

*Sigh*
Putting Jayden to bed is the worst task of the evening , besides getting to take a bath and eat dinner.
Nite Nite time = Jayden sleeping + me catching up on my shows. It never goes as planned. I'll explain

This is me watching basketball wives and Jayden sneaking out of the room after I tell him its time to go NITE NITE

Then he proceeds to creep and yell MOM

Immediately I get mad. Nite Nite time is my ME time. I usually watch tv , chat on the phone , eat , all the good stuff etc..

My next reaction is :

At this point im fed up!!

He says '' Awight '' meaning Alright .... and heads to bed.... for now


Then he comes out atleast 1 or 2 more times so we repeat this whole scene and he decides he will go to bed because I WIN lol. By this time its late , which means he is not a happy camper in the A.M.. but that is another story

After working a long day , I can imagine you'd want to come home and RELAX , this is not the case for me. After work I pick up my son and head home , to make dinner, have baths , and settle down. He's 4 yrs old and FULL of energy. These photo's are just a TASTE of what I deal with on a daily basis. He's my heart and the reason behind my goals.  I heart you Jayden!
